As a Club were are affiliated to UK Athletics and we have adopted the policies as laid down by the UK Athletics. The UK Athletics (UKA) and the Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAF) Codes of Conduct set out national standards of conduct for all clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers and athletes in the sport.

The Club aims to create an environment where our members feel safe and are able to participate in club events without being subject to any form of harassment, bullying, verbal or physical abuse.

Welfare – What we expect from our members

It is everyone's responsibility to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all those who participate in club events. We want Wilmslow Striders to have a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Club members must adhere to the club rules and respect the rights, dignity and worth of every club member and others involved in athletics and treat everyone equally. We expect members to promote positive aspects of the sport such as fair play and never condone rule violations.

Strict adherence to these values must be maintained when representing the club at events and races.

Wilmslow Striders has adopted the UKA Welfare and Safeguarding Adults Policy. The latest version can be viewed on the England Athletics website.
